We know that teens are not willing to share a lot of information about school with their parents. That can make it difficult to know what is going on at school. You can rest easy knowing we’ve included the most important information for you here on our news page. Check in frequently as we update this page often for you.
In accordance with Arizona H.B. 2439, the Tolleson Union High School District will be posting a list of library books that each site will purchase in the spring. Each school’s list can be found on the site’s website starting on Wednesday, March 8 and will be available until Monday, May 8.
Please make sure to make note of the testing dates below. It is imperative that your student is present and that they complete the state-mandated tests.
- March 25 and April 1 - ACT prep Saturday sessions
- March 30 - AzSci for juniors, virtual learning day for grades 9, 10, and 12
- April 4 - ACT for juniors, virtual learning day for grades 9, 10, and 12
- April 12 - ACT Aspire - 9th graders only, virtual learning day for grades 10, 11, 12
- April 13 - ACT Aspire - 9th graders continue, all students come in at 10:30 a.m. for classes
Please continue to check ParentVUE to check on your student's progress. If you have questions on attendance, grades, or work please reach out to the teachers using ParentVUE and attend tutoring if needed.
In accordance with federal statute, Westview High School is required to inform our community and our stakeholders regarding our intent to apply to the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Grant.
The 21st CCLC is a federal program that provides a safe environment to students during non-school hours. The program provides opportunities for student academic enrichment, youth development activities, and meaningful family engagement activities.
