We’re proud to announce that Callahan’s Closet—a community resource dedicated to supporting families, students, and staff—is now right here on our campus! Founded by Connor Froysland through the local nonprofit Callahan Care, this incredible initiative empowers us to close the gap for those in need within our own community.
To kick things off, Knights for Knights will be hosting a canned goods and non-perishable items drive from December 2 to December 11—right after Thanksgiving break! Every single donation will help stock the Callahan’s Closet pantry, directly benefiting our Westview family. Let’s come together and show what being a Knight is all about—compassion, generosity, and making a difference!
Guidelines for Participation:
Collection Boxes: If you have a 3rd-hour class, a collection box will be delivered to your room at the start of the week when we return. Get ready to fill it up!
Point System: Earn points for every item donated:
Canned Goods: 2 points each
Dried Goods: 1 point each
Tally & Collection: Knights for Knights members will visit during the last three days of the drive to tally up your points and collect all donated items.
Prizes:
1st Place: The winning teacher will receive two movie tickets, and their class will enjoy an epic classroom party sponsored by Callahan Care!
2nd Place: Score 5-minute early lunch passes for the entire class and a special snack treat to sweeten the deal!
Stay tuned for more details about Callahan’s Closet and the incredible support it will provide once everything is up and running.
