You can rest easy knowing we’ve included the most important information for you here on our news page. Check in frequently as we update this page often for you.

Freshmen Only Day

On July 30, we will have a special day for our incoming freshmen. This is a great opportunity for them to get familiar with the campus, meet their teachers and classmates, and learn about the expectations and opportunities at our school. The Freshmen Only Day will start at 7:20 a.m. and end at 2:12 p.m. Lunch will be provided. Freshmen will receive their laptops on this day!

First Day of School

The first day of school for all grades will be on July 31. The school day will start at 7:20 a.m. and end at 2:12 p.m. Please make sure your child arrives on time and is ready to learn. We have a lot of fun and engaging activities planned for the first week of school, and we don't want anyone to miss out.

Please Note: the first day of school is not an early release Wednesday. Our early release schedule will begin August 7. Please refer to the district calendar.

Summer Office Hours

The Westview front office is open to assist you Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Remember that campus is closed from Monday, July 1 through Friday, July 5.

View Graduation Ceremonies Online

Parents, students, and friends of a Tolleson Union High School District graduate can now watch recorded tapings of our 2024 high school graduations, or watch them live. All schools will have their graduation recorded and the link to view does not expire so families can watch them any time they want!

We are so proud of the class of 2024! Thank you to our parents, teachers, and staff for helping them all be so successful this year!

New School Boundaries for 2024–2025 School Year

The Tolleson Union High School District Governing Board voted on February 6, 2024, to change school boundaries for the 2024–2025 school year. The changes will help to evenly distribute student enrollment and account for future growth. The affected schools include Copper Canyon High School, La Joya Community High School, Westview High School, and West Point High School.

Los cambios ayudarán a distribuir uniformemente la inscripción de los estudiantes y tendrán en cuenta el crecimiento futuro.
