School Spirit Holiday Food Drive

Get involved in the annual friendly competition for a noble cause to combat hunger in the South West Valley! The Avondale Youth Advisory Commission and Neighborhood and Family Services Department will host the School Spirit Holiday Food Drive from November 3 through December 5 to assist St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance. Avondale schools are encouraged to join a friendly contest by collecting non-perishable food items. Participating schools receive certificates, and the top three schools with the most donations are awarded trophies. View the food drive flyer for details.

SCHOOL SPIRIT HOLIDAY  

FOOD DRIVE  

NOVEMBER 3 – DECEMBER 5 2025  

Get involved in the annual friendly competition for a noble cause to combat hunger in the South West Valley! The Avondale Youth Advisory Commission and Neighborhood & Family Services Department host the School Spirit Holiday Food Drive annually to assist St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance. Most Needed Items:  

Cereal, cereal bars, canned fruits and vegetables, rice, beans, pasta, canned tuna, chicken, ham, and salmon, juice, peanut butter, baking mixes, crackers, hot chocolate mix, jelly or jam, tomato products, cooking oil.
