Westview Archery Club: A Unique Opportunity for All Students

The 2024–2025 school year marks the first time the club has had the opportunity to both teach and compete in NASP tournaments. This year, eight students have participated in nine tournaments, traveling across Arizona from Tucson to Kingman. Notably, one student is currently ranked sixth in the state in the boys’ high school division, and every team member has placed within the top ten at least once in a tournament, with three more regular tournaments to go.

The club has qualified and will be competing in the Arizona State Finals on March 15 at Ben Avery Shooting Range. Sponsors Janice McKenna and Jennifer Brown are incredibly proud of all the archers, both recreational and competitive. They are optimistic that some—or all—of the team members will qualify for the Western Nationals in Sandy, Utah, in April.
